Background

Ana Luisa is a Hairstylist and local entrepreneur who was ready to take her styling business to the next level. Ana Luisa prides herself on providing her customers with nothing but exceptional service and quality.


The Challenge

A fellow lover of fashion and aesthetics, Ana Luisa came to bits with a passionate vision for her visual branding and what she wanted to achieve through a full brand launch. I set out to create Ana’s genuine and authentic personal brand. In order to bring her dreams into fruition I got straight to work designing & building a website, as well as creating print collateral and brand guidelines.


My Approach

Working closely with Ana, I undertook an extensive branding exercise to understand and develop her brand positioning, visual identity and tone. Our goal was to bring her brand to life while making her stand-out from her peers in the competitive hair styling industry.


Look & Feel

I wanted to create a very high fashion feel since that is the clientele Ana has. It had to represent a strong correlation between her clients and her, creating a symbiosis between them.

Colour Palette

We embraced the colours of high fashion, giving the entire site a distinctly ‘en vogue’ vibe.  The colour palette is purposefully dark & airy to compliment the clean aesthetic of the newly designed website and social media site strategies.

Collateral

Maintaining strong client relationships is at the heart of Ana’s mission, therefore it was was essential that she had beautifully branded business cards to have on hand for consultations and referrals.

The Website

I wanted to create something super minimal, following the single page design. Giving the illusion of luxury and quality. Ana didn’t need a lot of information on her website aside from a couple of pictures from her portfolio and her contact.
